![]() ![]() Enemies at level 1 will have less hearts and be weaker than enemies at level 3. The level of the enemy decides how many hearts it has and how strong it is. When looking at these cards there's two important thing to note.įirst, each card has a level from 1-3 with 1 being the lowest level. I highly suggest fighting an enemy every turn you can (unless timer constraints force you not to). Defeating enemies allows you to upgrade your equipment and levels. I personally am not a big fan of these cards, but others may enjoy the randomness.Ĭard Type B (red): Enemy cards: Use these cards to place enemies in your way as you travel from room to room. When you place the card you either get a positive (yellow) or negative (red) ability that usually kicks in during the next fight. If a card has path that would connect to an adjacent tiles walls then you can't place it.īlue tiles also have the chance to come with shrines in them. If the card has a wall where an adjacent tile has a path, you can't place it. It is important to remember that when placing a card, all exits must lead somewhere. Each card has a different amount of exits to move you in different directions. Use up to 3 of the 5 cards given to move your adventurer to the objective Let's first look at the three main types of cards.Ĭard Type A (Blue): Room cards: These cards allow you to add rooms to the dungeon that will allow your traveler to progress. ![]() Though the objectives and enemies are different, each level follows the same progression set-up. ![]() You can still get beat by the RNG, but if you can create that setup, the odds are very heavily in your favor. Each level in the game is presented by a dungeon for you to trek your way through. This gives Fire 4, Holy 4, Arcane 4, Armor 3, Stupid 1 and Wise. I think the one of the best characters to use in a long, end game dungeon is Cartomancer with Crone's Mind blessing and work to get the following equipment: Mind Staff, Scroll of Souls, Cultist Hood and Dragon Scale. The Crush line is actually fairly decent, but it just can't compare with the Arcane or Holy cards and given how poor that extra 1 damage per battle is, if you really want Crush, you should find another way to get it. Blessings of the Warrior is a joke, doing only 1 extra damage per battle and even Warrior's Strength only adds Crush 1. ![]() Heart Serum is great since Holy is the other "best" card line in the game.īlessings of the Trickster is basically pointless because over the course of a long dungeon, you're going to get the loot you want anyway, and for short dungeons Blessings of the Heal-Aid is just a better choice. You would want to pair this with a suitable Hero (Bruiser, Barbarian, Alchemist and Most Holy Grail Knight) to make use of the extra starting health. And the Arcane 1 you get from Crone's Mind is useful as well since Arcane is one of the two best card lines in the game.īut if you are only going into a short dungeon (either you want to play a short game, or it's on some kind of timer), then the Blessings of the Heal-Aid can be better. The increased starting hand size gives you more opportunity to find the best response to the AI's play. Most of the time, you'll want to use the Blessing of the Crone. However like you I would love to hear from more experienced players. I read a comment that it can be extremely useful with a Artificer build IF you have unlocked ONLY the most appropriate loot for the class. Trickster's Plunder (+1 loot choice slot, start with Level 1 loot choice) may be good although it is hard to say. The same applies to Warrior's Strength (+1 to first physical damage in Battle, Crush 1) which is really only helpful if you are playing a physical character and are sure you want the crush line. Admittedly the first card of Holy is quite decent too with blocking 1 physical or magic and healing one point. So you can quite often be up two cards over other Blessing choices.īy comparison I suspect Blessings of the Heal-Aid which gives +1 HP and Holy 1 is less useful overall usually unless your build specifically wants holy cards since having an extra choice of card card will save you more than 1 HP over the course of a fight. I suspect it is the best choice for any character who wants to get Arcane cards, and a decent choice for anyone since the first card of arcane 1 is pretty useful for anyone allowing you to do 1 magic damage and more importantly draw a card. I think the choice of Blessing really depends on your hero.įor example example Crone's Blessing has a natural synergy with the Cartomancer as it adds an extra card and grants Arcane 1 both of which are every valuable to him. ![]()
